I am a designer from Chicago, IL with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design and a certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Purdue University. I am pursuing my MA in Industrial Design from the University of Notre Dame.
Problem-solving starts with an open-minded approach. I never determine solutions before completing a thorough investigation of stakeholders' needs. Using participatory design research, I directly collaborate with stakeholders and draw insights that can be distilled and refined into human-centered solutions. My work prioritizes not only people but also their time and well-being.
I am very passionate about collaborating with other people, and I love that design can bring people together. Guided by my desire to understand people's daily experiences, I have organized meet-ups with South Bend locals at restaurants and community centers, collaborated with experts, and have been invited into people's homes. My strength is using industrial design hard skills to visualize solutions that directly result from our conversations and respond to the experiences shared with me.
